  Took my disks in to be machined. They allowed me to drop off prior to opening and went above and beyond by cleaning and packing my bearings included in the arranged price. Very happy.

  I've come to these guys a few times over the years. A year ago they replaced my compressor but unfortunately the compressor was faulty and within two weeks died. When I eventually took it back to ABS Glynde, the manufacturer refused to accept liability. ABS Glynde replaced it at their own cost. These guys were fair, understanding and reliable in the way they treated me. I recommend them.

  1 year on, they are door knocking, drumming up business. I have a "no salesman" door knocking sign at home. They knock on my door. Tell them in the nicest way to go, explain my bad experience with their shop. Also that they are breaking law knocking on do not knock marked door. Only for them to knock on my door again the following day trying to cold sell a car service. They are lucky I did'nt lodge a complaint to get them fined. I kindly called the shop, warned them not to knock on my door ever again. But I will definitely push for getting them fined if they ever knock on my door again in future. As recent gas service was fined $180,000 off memory for knocking on a "no salesman" door sign.

  I would not recommend this mechanic to anyone. They will door knock with great offer occasionally, first time took them up on the offer. Car came back from service with liquid coming out of engine pipes after driving it home. Note, my regular mechanic is otherside of town, didn't have time to get there as first choice. Thought I would try as this shop states it's RAA approved. Explained to the shop it's worse than before, who said it's an internal engine issue. Car not in a healthy way, i instead saw my old mechanic as I trust his opinion/judgement. 5 mins, no cost he had tightened up screws on pipes, gave it a quick look over. Stopped leaking. This shop instead of checking it's work. Will blame something else it seems.

  Joe was great!! The price wasn't as expensive as I had expected, which was great. They also called me when they realised I need new tires and sent me photos when I questioned it, which I really appreciated before they did anything. I will be going there again.

  The guys were very helpful and were more than happy to discuss everything with me. Communication was very effective on their behalf. They were very thorougher in checking my car to ensure it was road worthy. Very happy with the end product, and will go back again. 10/10 would recommend.

  So my advice, don't go to ABS. I would say it's not RAA quality service/end product. It was the second worst auto shop experience I ever had. The worst auto experience, they no longer operate the business so are no threat to giving bad customer experiences any more.
